Green Expo 2009

July 25th at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas

Green Expo 2009 is designed to help change the public’s perception of environmentalism.  Companies large and small are invited to showcase what they are doing to reduce their respective carbon footprint; consumers will have hands-on experiences with eco-friendly alternatives to everyday products and services.

Even Green Expo 2009 itself is environmentally friendly utilizing eco-friendly printing, recycled signs, compostable banners, and recycled paper used for programs and posters.  Recycle bins will be placed throughout the event to reduce the amount of refuse going to landfills.  Every plate, fork spoon, knife, cup, bowl, napkin, coffee stirrer and sample cup is 100% biodegradable and will be collected with all food scraps to be composted.  E-waste receptacles are available to participants’ for recycling and reuse of their electronic devices.  Everything that can be recycled at the event is recycled. Enthusiastic volunteers and staff are available to assist attendees in this process.

Green Expo 2009 will be marketed traditionally (through local newspapers and radio) and virally, using the web and the extensive and exclusive mailing lists of our REALTOR® members. Most of our 1300+ members each market to their own client base regularly, and the Green Expo will give them an additional opportunity to reach out and provide value to their own clients. WCAOR will publish email-ready flyers for them to use, multiplying the reach by thousands!

Green Expo 2009 invites both consumers and business owners to learn more about what is readily available so they can take steps to purchase earth friendly products and services to make our communities greener.

Please send in your reservation contract or sponsorship form with payment as soon as possible.  Booths will be assigned on a first come first serve basis.  We look forward to seeing you at the event!
