It is a strong desire of the Williamson County Association of REALTORS® that all REALTORS® in Williamson County will make WCAOR their board of choice. Whether you are a new and aspiring REALTOR® or a well-seasoned REALTOR®, we believe WCAOR has something for you.

- Discussion Forums - Discuss real estate issues and topics at a local level, 24 hours a day, on WCAOR Discussion Forums.
- A first class education program with classes that meet the needs of successful realtors. WCAOR offers a complete selection of top notch classes designed to help you market your services and provide the designations and credentials necessary to move your career forward.
- Orientation Classes for new members- great way to start off your new career – learn about WCAOR, TAR, NAR and receive your REALTOR® pin – all in one day.
- Online Classes – can’t make it out to the association – class is as close as your computer. Log on to the WCAOR website and take advantage of the many online classes available to you.
- Broker Breakfasts - learning opportunties for area brokers/managers. There are 4 quarterly Broker Breakfasts held by the Education Committee.
- Call yourself a REALTOR®, when you join WCAOR. Set yourself apart by wearing your REALTOR® pin which signifies to your clients, that you subscribe to the National Associations Code of Ethics, which establishes a professional standard for your business conduct.
- Accessibility to the WCAOR store where you will find items to meet all your REALTOR® needs at great membership prices. If we don’t have it, we’ll find it!
- Property Tours – as a member of WCAOR, you’ll have access to when all the local property tours take place, opportunities to participate and the help of your “family” of REALTORS® to either find the right house or help sell the house for your existing and new clients.
- Events, events and more events – something for everyone. Networking opportunities where you can meet many of the WCAOR affiliates and have the opportunity to learn about their services in a relaxed and family environment.
- Golf – yearly amateur golf event (emphasis on amateur)
- Open House – time to stop by the Association and mingle with other members, find out what’s new and check out upcoming activities.
- Free Lunch and Learns – current educational mini-classes that cover current issues and provide quick answers on topics ranging from “How to set up my Business” to great marketing techniques as well as contract updates and technology tips.

- Quarterly Luncheons – Four times a year WCAOR invites its family to gather and hear speakers who will motivate, inform or teach them about various aspects of the real estate business. Topics range from DOT updates to school board issues.
- Installation Banquet – a time to celebrate REALTORS® A night when WCAOR inducts its new officers and directors as well as a time when members reward those peers who have provided outstanding service to their clients and who have the sales numbers to prove it. Dinner and dancing is also available.
- Volunteer Opportunities – WCAOR has many workgroups that need your help so that the association can continue to provide value to its growing membership. Spread your wings and get involved! Standing workgroups are:

- WCAOR account manager – Every member of the association has access to their own through the WCAOR website. By access their account, you may pay your dues, sign up for classes, check your store purchases, total up your expenses and keep your contact information current – all from your desk.
- MLS access- through a partnership with Austin Board of Realtors- you can sign up for access to the MLS at the same time you join WCAOR. Everything you need is available right here at the Association - display key – lockboxes – account set-up.
- Find - a - REALTOR® site on the WCAOR website allows individuals in the community to search our database of members when they are looking for someone to represent them in the sale or purchase of a home. Your name will propagate to the website the day you join WCAOR. This feature also includes affiliate members of WCAOR.
- Member Communication – WCAOR sends out weekly newsletters to the membership which keeps you apprised of what’s happening in the Real Estate markets, as well as local and national news. These communications also let you know what’s happening at the association and provide updated information regarding classes, events as well as up to date statistics from the Williamson County market.
- Public Relations campaigns – WCAOR belongs to all the local chambers and also purchases ads to promote REALTORS® in the community and continuously informs the public about the value of using a REALTOR® for their property transactions.
- Access to legal hotline. When you join WCAOR, you will also join Texas Association of REALTORS®. The Texas Association of REALTORS® Legal Hotline is your link to an attorney who can provide information on real estate law and related matters. The hotline (800/873-9155) is reserved for association members and operates Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. This is a free service provided to all TAR members.
