Letter from the Governemental Affairs / TREPAC Workshop Chair
Our committee has initiated this webpage to assist our members in finding helpful information and links on current events at the local, state and national levels of government. We hope you find it a convenient place to come to regularly for information.
- Networking REALTOR® and affiliate members of the Association to get real time information on political actions in all regions of Williamson County.
- Establish a group of “field liaisons” to feed information on events and issues in all parts of the county, no matter how big or small the community.
- Provide regular “tidbits” of information with informative links to the staff at WCAOR to include in the Association’s newsletter and website.
- Create a webpage to consolidate links, newsletter articles, and contact information of our elected officials.
It should be noted that the Government Affairs committee does not work to endorse candidates or parties. We are a non-partisan committee committed to helping our members gain knowledge and understanding of issues so that we can grow our businesses and become more educated voters.
